PAYBACK’S POINTERS #6 – DOES 1/2 A POINT MATTER?

YES!!!!

Getting beat by a half point is equivalent to getting kicked in your nuts by a mule. The most common half a point beats are 2.5, 3.5, 6.5 & 7.5. Always try and get the advantage if you can when it comes to a Field Goal or Touchdown winning margin, even if you must lay slightly higher odds via alternate lines to achieve this it will be worth it if it comes down to a victory or defeat. You will feel like a genius if you play this the correct way and a moron if you do not.

Last week I loved the Chargers + 7 ½ against the Chiefs. The morning of the game the line dropped to 7, so I quickly bet the Chargers +7 in fear it would go down to 6 ½. I the line wound up going back + 7 ½ and I bet more on the Chargers. Final score Chiefs 17 – 10. I pushed with my original bet and won with my add on. I should have just may the whole bet + 7 ½ from the onset by laying more odds but I did not which prompted me to write this blog. Sometimes I fall victim to the common mistakes others make as well. I still won for the game but would have won triple if I did what I am suggesting to you.
